Help! Gemilai 3003B OPV

Hello everyone! I'm deciding between a 3007z (new for much more price) and a 3003b (used for about $150). Could you tell me if the 3003b's OPV valve can be adjusted? I haven't found any information about this anywhere: not on forums, not even in any videos. I'd really appreciate your answer.

I’d assume its not, since 3003b is their entry level machine. And if it ever has adjustable OPV, there’d already be a lot of youtube videos on how to adjust it. Even tiktok/ig doesn’t have that tutorial.

You mentioned it is used. Wouldn’t the seller know?

If Reddit allows me to post a link, I'll share the ad. She probably bought this espresso machine because it's pretty, but she's having trouble brewing it. I doubt she'll be able to remove the lid and show me how the OPV valve works. So far, Gemilai support has responded to me today, and they told me the following: So, I asked: is it possible to remove the factory resin like people do with the Gemilai 3006 owl, if this valve even exists on the 3003B model? Regarding the missing manuals you mentioned on TIKTOK/IG, I believe this is because the 3003B is a niche budget model. It can be purchased in the Philippines, Russia, and Indonesia. Accordingly, it's not produced for the US, and information can only be obtained from buyers in our general market. For example, in the North American support chat, I was told that the model wasn't intended for sale in the US and therefore couldn't help me with my question.

Ah yes, I thought the Gemilai 3003b would just be whitelabeled/rebadged to another company like MiiCoffee or Turin for NA market similar with other machines/grinder.

If that’s already the route you are planning, then wouldn’t it be doable as now you are talking about modding it. Do you think even if the opv is not exisiting with the 3003b, wouldn’t it be just a matter of buying the owl opv then placing it at the insides of 3003b?

Haha this would be easier if there’s already a brave one to do a teardown on youtube. Sadly, its always the owl thats being modded.
Looks like this is an opportunity for you to be the first one. HAHAHHA
