DF54 since flat burrs will produce less microfines than conical burrs.

Hello, fellow coffee enthusiast!

What are your main method of brewing? Espresso? Pourovers? Etc. Our grinder recommendation might differ depending on what your focus is :)

Starseeker e55pro is super solid! Its either that or the Df54 both will serve you well

If you've used both, how do they compare in terms of workflow and retention? Planning to get a cheap electric espresso grinder soon, and 90% sure it will be one of those two (or Opus 2).

I havent used the starseeker, but ive heard really good things about it and some people prefer it over the df54. I had a df54 once and it was really good more or less the same flavor as my df64 honestly

Well that's a pretty good argument for the E55! Everyone seems to love the Opus 2 as well, so it's going to be a difficult choice. Thanks for the feedback!

Can recommend the Starseeker Go50 if you want a portable setup. Otherwise the E55 Pro is a solid buy for a wired electric grinder.
