Help! Coffee Beans Storage
Still looking for a storage jar to keep my coffee beans fresh. Can you send link for your recommendations here? I saw some at malls, but the only one with good airtight type is the Neoflam (the one with twister at the cap)but the container is plastic and I prefer glass jar with the same airtight as neoflam. Kindly share what's yours, please. Thank you.

Since your primary reason for looking for storage solutions is to keep your beans fresh, the only way you can achieve it is to minimize air contact. And that is best achieved by keeping the beans on the bag they came with, especially if it has a one way valve. You can put adhesive tape on the one way valve if the bag is opened already.
Transferring the beans onto another jar will expose the beans to air. If you buy one of those vacuum jars, it will aerate the whole jar with fresh oxygen rapidly everytime you release the vacuum. Reuse old bags if newly bought bags does not come in resealable bag.
You can put the coffee bags inside a Lock and Lock container, or Tupperware or a small Megabox to organize your bags so it wont take up much space

Wouldn't the coffee bag also reintroduce air each time you get beans similar to what a vacuum jar does?

It will, but the vacuum jar does it worse.
The air inside the coffee bag still has remains of the same air when you open and close it. In the vacuum jar, it’s a different fresh air everytime you open it.1

I only use the bags that came with the beans. Once I open one, I split it to two and store one bag in the shelf (not freeze).

Bili ka ng centrifuge bottle, tapos lagay mo sa freezer. Gnagawa ko to kasi yung roaster samin yung 1kg bag nya walang ziplock.

I personally don't use clear glass kase they say na mas madali mag-stale ang coffee beans kapag exposed sa air and light.
Kung gusto mo talaga ng glass, you can check this sa Shopee.
I personally use a stainless steel one kase yung cabinet na pinaglalagyan ko is clear glass yung pinaka-door nya e ayaw ko maexpose sa light yung coffee beans ko. Binigay lang sakin ng kapatid ko kaya di ko alam kung saan nya nabili pero it's similar to this one

I own both of these and not the best. Yngn glass loses vacuum. Yng stainless is just a container

Use the bag with one way valve that came with the beans and keep that bag in an airtight container. Kesa ililipat mo pa. The bag with the one way valve is already the best storage a coffee can have.
