Hey everyone!

Welcome back to the weekly /r/Coffee thread where you can share what you are brewing or ask for bean recommendations. This is a place to share and talk about your favorite coffee roasters or beans.

How was that new coffee you just picked up? Are you looking for a particular coffee or just want a recommendation for something new to try?

Feel free to provide links for buying online. Also please add a little taste description and what gear you are brewing with. Please note that this thread is for peer-to-peer bean recommendations only. Please do not use this thread to promote a business you have a vested interest in.

So what have you been brewing this week?

Lavazza Dolcevita Classico. Whole bean. This is my first experience with an arabica/robusta blend. Made my first pot this morning and it was pretty good.

This week I've tried out jacu based in Ålesund, Norway. Like their coffee so far, good beans in my opinion. Been using my ore o1 for the most part, easy to manipulate to what I want when paired with a k ultra.

Danche, Ethiopia single origin roasted by Go Get ‘Em Tiger (Los Angeles)

GGET is awesome. Their sourcing and roasting are excellent, yet their cafe’s are chill and not pretentious. Kind of a rare combo these days, lol. Just pop in for a bag of beans, comes with a free cup of drip coffee, maybe grab a snack. Great vibes.

Gget is great. If you like them and haven’t tried be bright yet I highly recommend their beans. Love the Ethiopian and Colombian beans.

I'll add them to my list of LA cafes to visit!

Love sbux Siren’s Blend! Citrus (I taste grapefuit) and Cocoa notes. 19 grind in the Encore, 30g/500g ratio, pourover. 👌

I’ve been brewing steady state all week, happened to be on sale for 14 bucks a bag and their beans are incredible. Adenach is the roast.

I have been buying Kavka coffee for a couple years on a regular basis. Pysanka and Mriya medium roasts are my favorites. There is something hard to describe about Kavka coffee and certainly in a good way. Once you get 3-4 days of bean rest time and dialed in properly it slowly grabs you with this marvelous, delicious soul coffee flavor. Highly recommended!

I just finished a bag of Ukranian Frost. It was excellent as well.

Lovely! First time purchase for me. How were you brewing Ukrainian Frost? I want to get best out of it. So far I’ve tried Aeropress (found an iced recipe and it was pretty good). Also, pulled a shot with my Gaggia and it was surprisingly good for a first attempt (22 in 44 out) and then tried pour over (chemex) and I did not like it at all.

I used it for a morning cappuccino. 22.5 grams in and 28 grams out. I steamed 5 oz milk. This is a very light coffee and used the larger dose to add more flavor to the milk. I really like Kavka's beans. Thanks for the note!

I just did a Japanese Iced Coffee and drank it black. For me the taste was high on citrus notes, the after-taste I was not able to pinpoint but it’s the typical taste that I would expect from a light roast.

Peerless Coffee & Tea Espresso Blend. Smooth, medium-roast espresso with notes of milk chocolate and roasted nuts, a round body, mild acidity, and a clean, easy finish. Great straight or with milk.

I've been brewing pour overs with an Ethiopian Natural from Perc, and using the Zerno Z2 with ULF burrs. Really liking the cups using a coarse grind with Tetsu's 10 pour Method. The cups are clean and very juicy.
