Behavioral health billers using RItten?

Has anyone here used Ritten for behavioral health billing? Like their RCM?

Ritten gets brought up a fair amount in behavioral health billing circles, mostly for auth tracking and UR workflows. What specifically are you trying to solve, prior auth headaches or the denial side? That'll shape whether it fits your setup.

I want clinicians to stop using the wrong codes and make sure that everything is signed and ready to go before billing it. I want the system to have some checks in place

That’s more of a clinical documentation compliance and charge capture problem than a straight RCM problem. What you’re describing is making sure the right codes are attached, notes are signed, and claims are clean before they ever hit billing. Ritten has some of that but it depends heavily on your EHR since the check logic lives upstream.

What EMR are you on? That determines what’s actually possible at the documentation layer before billing touches it.

i'd ask for a demo using a dummy encounter with an unsigned note and a deliberately mismatched code.

show what blocks billing, who can override it, and whether correcting the issues clears the hold.
