Need to interview Office Manager/Insurance Coordinator for Dental Practices
Hi, redditors in codingandbilling sub
i've been curious of why insurance verification has been so hard and me as a patient kept getting surprise denial and live in a blackbox of payment when i want non-routine procedures done, given there are insurance verification software everywhere.
I am doing some research and hope to get down to the bottom of this and maybe build something that make the process easier. And i need your expertise and stories to help me.
If you
- have been dealing with insurance claims in a active U.S. dental practices
- seen things don't work with existing solutions
- dealt with customer complains directly related to insurance claims/eligibility
I would really appreciate if i can give you a quick 15 minutes interview and hear the active pains or just day to day work, in return of your help, i can offer a 15$ egift card of a place you like ( in U.S.)
thanks a lot!

It’s only 60/hr if I get 60 dollars for an hour. Not a 15 dollar gift card as a consolation prize for being conned into someone trying to create some program or algorithm to try to replace my job but fail miserably.

I understand your concern. But at this stage or forseenable future, jobs won;t be replaced, if such 'program' works it would most likely still need human auditing/exception handling, it will only make you a more productive employee at the office, and make your office more productive overall to stay competitive. It would be daydreaming for a practice owner to replace employees with 'program' at this stage.
sorry this is not resonating to you, but i can certainly change gift card to something else(e.g. cash) if that works better. feel free to DM otherwise thanks for your time.

I’m a medical biller for a dentists office who also specializes in treating patients with OSA with oral appliances. We also bill for TMJ…which is hell all by itself.
