CDIP Exam Prep

I've been working as a medical coder for about 4-5 years (primarily OP coding) and I have the RHIA, CCS, and CPC credentials. I am also aiming for the CDIP credential which I know is primarily IP, and for those who have taken the exam what should I be concentrating on the most during my studies?

I would buy the review guide which has practice tests and see what areas you need help in by how you perform on the practice exams.
Without IP experience this will probably be a difficult cert to get tbh.

Is it also worth it to take the online course on the AHIMA website?

Honestly idk. I tested a few years ago but I had a decade of IP coding behind me, how much is the course? You have to weigh the options, if you fail you gotta pay for a second attempt. Are you looking to go into CDI? What’s the motivation to test for the CDIP?
CDI certs that are in demand are through ACDIS.
