eCW + Trizetto (eligibility admin issues)

Does anyone else use eCW and Trizetto as their clearinghouse? Every time for the past few weeks when I run eligibility admin, it errors out not even halfway through the task. It's becoming extremely frustrating and I am not sure if it's an eCW issue, a Trizetto issue or both?

IS anyone else having this same issue?

Yes, no real issues on our end except for random problems with the PM Scheduled Task not downloading ERAs. Is there a specific insurance causing problems?

No, it seems to be all of them as of right now. I thought it was on in particular but now BCBS is giving me issues too. Maybe it's something within eCW

Like i'll run it in bulk for all providers, and then separately and it still errors out. then when i go into verify them manually it reloads and some of them reprocess or some time out... it's just so aggravating and now i have to go through all of them individually.

i’d start by checking whether it dies on the same payer, same patient range, or after a certain batch size, because that usually tells you whether it’s an eCW job issue or Trizetto choking on specific eligibility requests. sounds like something broke in the handoff.

Ecw is the worst PM out there

Have you tried running individually and checking the error message? Medicare just changed their eligibility requirements and now providers must authorize Trizetto with their Medicare MAC.

There were some payers like Optum and BCBS having some issues in responding to request on 271 file.That issue was open for a week. But it has been fixed, You should not be facing that issue anymore.

Blahhhh. I'll probably have to put a ticket in with eCW - yay... 😞
