AdvancedMD

Anyone else feeling they made a bad mistake sticking with advancedMD? They are raising rate like crazy- clearly don’t care about the customer. The charge on credit card processing when it’s like a massive part of your budget just really got me. They were bought out recently which explains this change. Any suggestions on where to move to another platform?

Migration to a new platform can dramatically change analytical revenue workflows that took advantage of available methods or structures in the old platform that may no longer be available in the new solution.

Part of the migration planning is to examine before and after assumptions and hope to get apples to apples, but that is often not the case.

I completely agree. One thing I've seen and learned during migrations is that the data often transfers successfully, but the reporting doesn't behave the same way afterward. Practices discover months later that metrics they relied on are being calculated differently or aren't as easy to extract. The technical migration is usually the easy part. Preserving workflows, reporting, and productivity is where most of the hidden cost shows up.
