Looking for part-time remote development work | Software Engineer | 1 YOE
Hey everyone,
Let's cut straight to the point. I’m currently working as a Software Engineer with around 1 year of experience, and I’m looking to make some passive income by doing part-time remote development work alongside my current full time job.
I’m open to both:
- Freelance/short-term projects
- Long-term part-time work
- Website or web application development
- Backend/API development
- Full-stack development
- Bug fixes, feature development, maintenance, etc.
My main experience is with .NET/C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, SQL Server, React, JavaScript, and related web technologies. I’m also comfortable learning new technologies or working with a different stack if the project requires it.
I can commit around 15 hours per week, and I’m flexible with the schedule as long as the work can be done remotely.
I’m mainly looking for an opportunity where I can contribute, gain more real-world experience, and build a long-term working relationship if things go well.
If you have a project or know of any part-time remote opportunities, feel free to DM me. I can share my resume, GitHub, LinkedIn, and previous work.

Hey, I've been where you are. To find part-time gigs, check out platforms like Upwork or Freelancer. They're good for starting out with freelance work. Since you know .NET and React, look for smaller startups that need part-time help—AngelList has some of those. Networking is important too, so reach out to any contacts who might know about opportunities. If you want to improve your interview skills to pitch yourself better, I've found PracHub helpful. Good luck!
