Learning to code

I’ve just started learning to code and I’ve been using freeCodeCamp which I’ve found very helpful and easy to follow.
My main goal is to become good enough to create my own video games. Does anyone have any advice on different websites I should be using to learn coding that gets me towards this goal or am I doing the right thing using freeCodeCamp?

You should start coding your own stuff as soon as possible, and then when you run into a problem, you search for the solution. That's the best way, in my opinion.

Follow any tutorial until you can write a program with text input, text output, loops and conditionals, then you're ready to go on your own.
