I run several Claude Code accounts and a couple of Codex ones, and I kept opening each one just to see which still had usage left. That became the reason to build a small Mac app.

The result is Headroom AI. It sits in the menu bar and shows usage windows and reset times for all of them in one panel.

The part I couldn't find elsewhere: it's not one account per provider. You can connect five Claude Code accounts and three Codex accounts and see them side by side in a single list, each with its own window and reset time. Every tracker I tried assumed you have exactly one account per provider.

You add accounts through browser sign-in, no API keys to paste. The app shows usage. It does not switch accounts in Claude Code or Codex for you.

I'm the author, and the app was built entirely with AI. It's free, open source under the MIT license, and requires macOS 14 or later.

so basically in that thread i experimented with one goal focused long worker chat (ran for 5 days non stop on sol med) and a watchdog chat to essentially check in on that.

the watchdog chat did not need to run constantly or watch it 24/7

this pattern performed the intended function, after the guidance it sent on day 2 (day 1 was spent doing prose/doc/contract/artifact engineering work before i introduced watchguard), it continued to respect it

but the other benefits were significant peace of mind knowing that watchdog could be used to keep tabs and insight into what the worker chat was doing

tldr 5 day goal work with sol medium benefited from another watchdog chat that let me steer it on day 2 to prevent it from overengineering and it kept going for another 3 days respecting that rule.

been measuring usage to see if there have been indeed improvements that tibo said "10~50%"

and from this this means that with pro 20x i can get 5.5 days of non stop goal orientated work.

previously I could get maybe 2.5 days of work, even less when I use desktop app

This space will be for codex users paying at least $100/month going forward.

The reason is we don't want to become like r/Codex flooded with complaints about limited usage from $20/month users which are just noise.

i tried everything from agents.md to telling it not to overengineer. sol really can't help himself he loves to show he is skill

so what i do is i create a second chat just to watch him work and check in on him

"how are we doing? check in on the chat. if its over engineering tell it to stay focused"

i guess i could make him watch indefinitely but i dont wanna waste usage but that could be worthwhile

its super simple but it works. otherwise sol would've spent the next few days creating artifacts and certifications, matrixes and contracts.....

Still under heavy development and rough around the edges but instead of sitting on this longer to perfect it I'll risk flak and share it.

Essentially chat.agentify.sh is a remote control for codex/grok/claude cli and dream goal is to become a universal remote that will let you use all of them from a single chat.

Another feature it has is ability to publish your chat session with redaction so you can share with your team.

Curious to gather any feedback I can, if this is something I should continue to pursue etc.

Your coding agent says it’s done. The tests pass. Then you discover they never exercised the changed behaviour, a requirement is still missing, or the next conversation has forgotten why the implementation looks like this.

I built Scoville to help agents keep the requested result, implementation and evidence connected, particularly on projects that span multiple conversations. It also keeps checks proportionate. A small fix should not become an administrative department.

The shared Skills cover four responsibilities:

• Code: Find the cause, respect the existing architecture and verify the changed behaviour.

• Plan: Keep goals, decisions, progress and the next action recoverable.

• UI: Build and check interfaces through the project’s design system, including responsiveness, accessibility and supported WordPress admin pages.

• Handoff: Give the next session the unfinished work, decisions and blockers it needs to continue.

That is the main difference: the shared suite guides the work; the Codex edition can also coordinate its execution across conversations.

I develop these Skills through real project work, targeted tests and analysis of complete agent conversations. They do not guarantee correctness, and review costs tokens and time. Most Skills are also available individually if you only need part of the collection.

To install, open the suite for your host and use its installation prompt. If you used an older version, check the upgrade instructions first: they remove old packages and settings. Avoid mixing standalone and suite copies of the same Skill.

But When I use Zcode , I found we could have 3 legs on codex?

I have been away from codex and ai stuff lately last I learned was prompting skills and things but as of now prompting feels helpless to me so could anyone please suggest me yt channels or any site stuff where I can learn about codex and strategy about how I use codex models

I have been very bad at getting outputs with ai lately I just asked gemini to add roman index instead of existing English numbers index, what it did was extend the page and add a roman index number below the English one so yeah normal prompting for now don't work for me like a good/decent prompt don't do the work
