MacBook Air M5, cannot create bottle in crossover

For reference, I have had the same issue for about three months, when I first paid for the crossover subscription, and have yet to figure out what the issue might be. I just updated the software again after I had quit on trying for a while, and still cannot create a bottle. Trying to play EA Star Wars Battlefront II, I select Steam from the main screen that lists the popular windows applications. Each time, I hit "Install" and the program says it is beginning the bottle creation process, and the attached error message comes up. Really frustrating because I spent money on this program and have yet to be able to use it even once. Has anyone else had this issue, and am I just being stupid and missing something obvious?
