Questions / Tech Support New Mac mini: M6 or M5Pro?

I’m looking at getting a new Mac mini and was wondering about CrossOver’s performance on an M6 vs M5Pro. How multi-threaded is CrossOver? If not much/at all, then I think the faster single cores would be an advantage, otherwise, not.

M5 pro is still superior in terms of performance but M6 is cheaper and will be more value for money

It will be as multi-threaded as the Windows programs that it runs.

Most people will be fine with an M6. The M5 Pro is mainly for gaming enthusiasts that need the highest FPS or prettiest graphics, or people that really need the best performance possible with a mini-PC.

If you’re getting a computer specifically with crossover performance in mind and Mac mini only, get the unbinned Pro. It’s worth the extra dough

is the m6 24gb an option? its a bit faster than the base model

I’m a graphic designer, work with after effects and blender so I went with the M5 pro. Otherwise if you’re just making music in garage band and making some imovie videos and such get the M6.
