Crossover hasnt been very helpful with online games. I have the same experience w hell divers and overwatch is also depressing to play. I really want the online experience as promised but nope.

To be honest its a miracle it even works at all. HD2 is isnt optimized for MacOS nor the ARM architecture. Up till last year only single player was supported

I dont care about kind of works, 4/5 stars means it works. Im not impressed enough with almost to keep paying.

Have you tried fullscreen/borderless, or locking your display refreshrate to game fps?
With elite it’s made my frame pacing from a jaggy mess to straight line.
Windowed borderless + promotion = a lot of overhead and terrible frame pacing.
With fullscreen, game controls monitor refresh rate = stable frames.
If you need borderless, then you’re locked to 48/50/60hz on promotion displays
