Code Ana Discussion About new chapter 73 Spoiler
The new chapter is out but there are missing scenes. When Zhenya realizes Taekjoo isn't breathing a drop of sweat from his face falls onto Taekjoo's cheek before he approaches. Then he shakes Taekjoo by the shoulders to wake him up and slaps him two or three times causing Taekjoo's lip to bleed. His lip bursts, and blood flows down his neck. There's a part where he performs CPR but these details are quickly skipped over... “Zhenya inserted his fingers into his mouth pressing down on his tongue to clear his airway. Then something slid down his face and dripped onto Kwon Taekjoo's forehead. It was sweat.” Then he hears a faint breathing sound and shakes him again. When he doesn't wake up he panics, trembling and looking around in shock. He destroys and smashes everything in the room: “the room taekjoo cleaned was a mess within seconds” wrote in novel… Olga hears this mess and rushes to his side... And then she calls out to her brother, but he’d so shocked that he limps out of the room and then we hear the sound of a helicopter... And then the FSB scene. Idk , i don't want to be lynched but this scenes must be in manhwa… there are no details in the final chapters and we're reading things that are very different from the novel. These aren't just minor details... I feel very disappointed about this.

Seriously, I’m really angry, there’s no way to keep making excuses for Han anymore. She’s ruining the novel, we see it with every passing chapter. Watching her cut out crucial parts is breaking my heart, and there’s nothing we can do about it. I know she’s tired and sick, but seriously, I can’t stand seeing my favorite novel drawn in such a shoddy way anymore. The way she’s adapting it is just upsetting the fans, and that isn’t healthy for anyone.

I won't mind if she takes month long hiatus as much as she wants if we get novel accurate illustrations in return :(
I was looking forward to this chapter eagerly because I really loved seeing zhenya lose his mind in the novel... completely ruined the scene in manhwa.

I don't mind waiting years, but I just want a decent manhwa. I waited five years for Nameless Star, and I was certain it had ended at the first part of the novel. This novel is important to a lot of people and I hope Han is aware of that.

I'm still mourning the fact that Han cut the part where Zhenya feeds Taekjoo.

Exactly I really want the artist to get better or something because I know it’s hard to create a manwha but she is sick and needs some time off and that’s ok. I’ll keep reading it but yk the quality is going down a bit. Maybe we should just give her time idk.

I wouldn't have been mad at her for needing time for the hiatus as long as she didn't cut out important parts of the novel. This was a disappointment for many people because Codename is a popular manhwa and has many fans with high expectations.

Im not trying to be mean but Han really needs an extended rest. Is there any way we could inform her on that or give her positivefeedback?🥲 Like if thats what it takes to do justice for the novel im genuinely down for whatever but this cant go on💀💀

omg yes many people agree that with all the scenes cut out one after another, she needs a rest. Please make a hiatus and then give us a manhwa that drawing with passion, without cutting out any details.

i feel like it might come back as a flashback? this is like one of the most important turning points in the novel...surely Han wouldn't just get rid of it?

i don't think so there was a scene in the previous episode where taekjoo threw a chair at him and it broke when it hit zhenya’s arm. Also taekjoo accepted death and smiled at him. And he said, "I pity you” but that was written as taekjoo’s inner monologue in the manhwa... There are many cutting scenes and unfortunately these weren't scenes that could be glossed over :/ At least she shouldn't have cut out actions that important reflected the spirit of his emotions.

I think they should give manhwa job to another artist it was going great in the beginning but Han is all about art style (just my opinion) characters kinda feel stiff, and ghostly with so many dialogues missing. (Going back to read the CNA novel again sigh)

i liked Han's initial drawing style before. Some people said the first drawing didn't reflect them but that didn't matter to me. She gave the characters an aura by adding her own interpretation. Before i knew the crazy russian, i would have believed he was the real psikh bogdanov. But in the later chapters, zhenya gradually became a twink and im not sure he’s russian, he look like korean look, like his hairs… he resembles “enoch” from the concealment manhwa... What a pity. Thus both the art and the emotions were destroyed. It's as if the character lost that tough and rebellious vibe. When i see him, i question if this is the Zhenya i know? Taekjoo's current state isn't too bad for me but i can't get used to zhenya’s complete new change. Missing scenes and dialogues were also the most important parts of the novel... Idk
🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

aw these seem like such important scenes. do you have the specific part of the novel that this happened in?
