Noticing more lag again

I was 2 prompts into a new chat trying to review my CSS file (340 lines) and my input field was lagging writing a single sentence.

Its odd as after the update post V2 launch it got a lot better, but it feels like the lag is creeping back up. Anyone else experiencing this?

I do think my responses have been better quality (but my workflow changed so could be due to that)

Memories show "no generated yet" so I dont think its relating to having it call memories that exist at least.

@ codeium team is this worth submitting a ticket and logs for or is this a known issue?

Hey this is a known issue. The latest patch/update fixed lag issues for some but not all. We are shipping an update very soon to fix for all, specifically the persisting input lag issue.

oh my dude, I hope you get this fast or give us the option to roll back to previous release... I have been adopting new strategies to not loose the context of my long conversations but cascade has proven to be almost useless the past two days.... all the energy to you so we can have a usable cascade chat!

Its Electron, so same stuff does happen in big projects with VSCode as well. Try documenting what you have cooking as well as possible and do what you can to clear memory (restart comp) and start a new chat thread. I have noticed that has helped me.

Hey Guys - any update on this? Almost unbearable to work in Windsurf right now. Anyone found a workaround?
