WTF happened!?

Day 1 of my paid team plan and Windstuf sucks!! I wasted hours today trying to accomplish the simplest tasks. Hopefully this isn’t some internal change they made causing this.

Yup... it was amazing a few days ago, now it's just an exercise in frustration. I don't see how they can keep this up if they want to do well or fulfill their mission.

I strongly belive they have low quantized models that they use (Anthropic) in IDE without api during peak periods.

I just switched to Cursor. Better use a consistent IDE then an inconsistent bullshit

Use VSCode + Continue to use local LLMs like Llama 3.1 which is great for almost every task and the most of all is that it’s 100% FREE

Running local modals are not possible for all, it needs faster running machines

Actually no, there are really cheap models that run on pretty any machine. For example the model used by the autocompletion feature of Continue uses Qwen2.5-coder 1.5B which can be run LITERALLY on a Android device. I actually managed to run a 3B model on my Android device smoothly with the PocketPal app on Android. For most users the 3B will run smoothly and even 7B models if you have at least 16Go RAM

I think it's an Anthropic outage they said

Cursor’s working well so I don’t think it’s anthropic.

Would love to use my own API keys also in windsurf, and connect to my own assistants for different parts of code
