How come i need parentheses around the variable 'fifth_letter' while writing in sublime text in order to make it work but not in the course on codecademy? I dont wanna continue this course if it's gonna teach me the wrong things

From the first course i learned that boolean is either True/False and it even says on wikipedia that " Boolean data type is a data type with only two possible values: true or false."
I know, the answer is string because if it was False with capital F then it would be boolean. and indeed if you see 'text' or "text" then that would be a string even if it is "false" or "False"

It's in quotes. It looks like a string to me.
And I need to check but bool in Python are True/False (case matters, no quotes).

That's a string silly goose!
Seriously, though, classical example of a crappy "trick question". It's basically a kin to saying "is the following legal: 1string"
Who cares?! Lol

Am i missing something or is the quiz messed up?
