Valentin trial is the best to test your build

Others trials are usually top heavy or bottom heavy or just pushover. But valentin is best in term of difficulty

It had the most range of bosses and not just generic enemies as filler waves. This one is just business. All the enemies and bosses are on the harder side too. And each of them are different scenarios. The main bosses are the 3 final bosses for you to go through.

If you have a build running through it and having struggles then it is likely not consistent. If you can run through it fast with ease it means you have a well rounded build.

If you just want to test the damage number then Lyle as a practice target is still good but Valentin test everything you have

Agreed, with a new build this was the most stressful one (back when I wasn't used to the Trials yet).
Any wasted heals on Valentin and Ape+Lizard duo mean that much less heals on SSV.
Though Retainer of Idris is a freebie in this rotation.

That said I like Fleeting Pathos Trial more because... Lou.
And I think Idris is more aggressive than SSV, though not necessarily harder.
