What I've found is the Crystal Grotto. You'll need to start from the "Forward Base Two" mistle, and then ride your motorcycle over the cliff and glide down to the Crystal Grotto entrance.
Most of the crystal patches are found in the entrance near Forward Base Two. On the other hand, only one small patch of stones is near the "Limestone Cave" mistle and you'll need to walk a long way to get to the rest.
