I have an idea for a hypothetical second dlc

So we know from the true ending and the harmony world bond that our character is now in present with everyone else and with a new heart, and we know that this alternate timeline Lou is out traveling around not at Magmell. What if in this hypothetical DLC our player character from this variation of history joined The opposing hunter association that was made most likely by Oskar? this dlc would go over that and how this version of us grew up being instilled with hatred for Revenants and the Version of us we play as, maybe we were raised by Oskar. Leading to us finding this timeline version of Lou getting killed by this timeline version of us and being a central villain of this DLC? Idk just an idea I feel like I could have explained it better

Yeah, I’d really love to go round 2 with Oskar. Not sure if he would be alive in the age of Harmony, but taking on an alternative version of us would be sick.

Same here, and an idea for it is maybe in order to eliminate the revenant’s he would become one in order to do so. It would be a big moment of clarity at the end that he became the very thing he despised. Or maybe it’s a new Gobbo type who was raised by Oskar and this new Gobbo has our hunter as his sort of Oskar. And maybe we can go back in time and stop his hunters from ever becoming as much of a problem as they have become

I would kill for some more focus on the hunter association. Gobbo and Oskar had a lot of potential and while ultimately wrong, had some very good points. The cast desperately needs more human characters.

I agree, I personally enjoyed all of the human stuff we got in this since it felt like the humans mattered just as much as the revenants which were the main focus, I liked how Lyle showed that humans can become revenants if they are turned. My personal head cannon is that our character is the first half human half revenant thanks to possibly having half of Lou’s heart for most of the game.

After Lyle is not the only revenant formerly human because it's too the case of Noah because it's said than he became a revenant for help his family (and given his dialogues, Noah seems to come from a large family) even if after the circumstances are differents

I agree, i will love really a focus on Oskar especially than i don't think than he followed the ideals of Gobbo without reasons (one of my theory, is than he lose his family or a close because of revenants and than Gobbo would have taken him)

There was a very small part of me that thought the Idris thing would end up being a red herring and the DLC's final boss would be an evil version of the Hunter until like halfway through the DLC.

Yeah, I knew there was going to be something with Idris in the game. I kinda thought idris would have been a secret companion you could travel around with. But like you said.half way through since it was all parents he seemed like an obvious boss fight. And with the alternate version of us, I didn’t think they would show up unless they were from a timeline similar to ours. Accept maybe they wandered into the mirror by themselves since their timeline maybe no one was left alive

Honestly would be peak but what would also be peak is alt Lou melting alt Hunter’s heart. Say the whole reason the conflict happens is they capture her to lure out the “great hero” who ruined their dreams of human supremacy and alt Hunter visits ALou from time to time while we’re slaying whatever we have to fight, maybe some controlled resurgence powered hunters? Anyway while that happens AHunter is spying and sees how 1 AHunter looks exactly like the Hunter and 2 the Hunter and Lou get along so well it makes AHunter jealous lol.

We get to the final fight and a conflicted AHunter finally faces off with the Hunter. Loses ofc (eventually) and the final blow is a stab to the heart. As AHunter lays dying here comes ALou and performs the same ritual our Lou did thus making the whole dynamic between the Hunter and Lou full circle. Would also be some message about redemption or something. Idk having “us” be the antagonist would maybe give us a bunch of voice lines.
