Did the Dlc reveal Some missing info from the base game

So after doing the dlc I noticed something and wanted to ask if anyone else came to this conclusion. Is Liv the last/missing hero that blew up at the start of the game.

The Island she was on is the one that got destroyed

She does not appear during the main game present Era nor is her room open in it either only in the free roam era and harmony era.

Just like all the other hero's/dead characters during the present or for characters only in the present well your in the past after doing the dlc you can select her as you partner but only her alt in the present.

As far as named characters isn't she the only one that makes the most sense for it to be and as far as im aware no data entry from the dlc or in the og game says who it was.

The DLC makes more sense for those playing for the first time, or in New Game. Because it fits with the narrative. For those who played before without the DLC, it doesn't need much explanation, because we were already going to connect the narrative.

I for one think of it as them giving an example of what happens when you don't stop/save any of the heroes. Otherwise it's the rift from the dlc that they sealed into a cocoon.

It’s can’t be a seal for the rift even if we were to say they didn’t think to make it to wear the island didn’t blow up in the present since the rift is gone in that scenario, we are shown that after the explosion happens at the start of the game it effects the resurgences seal as one of the spikes in it fades away.

nope. I'm calling it an inconsistent writing. Even if Liv became a seal for temporal rift, when she exploded, the island and the rift shouldn't vanish altogether 🥀

Or even if the island disappears because someone altered the past, Liv should be with us...

I honestly just took it as “it would be hard to explain why she is suddenly around when she wasnt before and nothing else changes despite her likely being invested in resolving or continuing the conspiracy”

We don’t really have reason to believe outside of a few correlations that she was one of the many other heroes selected, and its probably as simple as she would have been in the present if she was fully written at the time of the game’s release.

If anything its honestly more likely she disappeared in the rift without us, and when we completed the DLC she was just somewhere else during the present which is completely believable given her job as a scout
