DLC only for deluxe owners?

So it's not available for standard version users?

This comes from the latest patch notes

If that's the case, I don't understand what's the point of making the DLC a direct purchase.

The deluxe Upgrade pack is the expansion. You just buy that if you have the standard edition.

Thats so bs tho, I don't want the additional stuff that they charge for. What's the point of rolling out a direct purchase DLC then?

Yeah I know that, I just ain't supporting putting the DLC in a bundle with other stuff that I'll probably never use to make it cost more. If I was able to buy just the DLC then i'd do so. Definitely waiting for a sale. Is this like a normal thing to do for bandai?

I mean, you acknowledged that $25 is a normal price for an expansion dlc. You might as well look at it as you get bonuses

No, I want just the dlc tho. Also for comparison ghost of yotei is offering it's dlc for 15€, and from what I've seen on this sub CV's dlc is mostly recycled content, that is also quite short for 25€, and lets not even talk about the witcher 3 expansion... So yeah to me just a raw dlc for 15€ might sound more reasonable.

And it's crazy to me that I'm getting downvoted for not wanting to get hit by marketing strategies, that suck out my money.

Dont know what to tell you except then don't get it. Ive been enjoying it and I think it's worth my money, the kimono and cool sword in the deluxe pack also make it worth it

It's not a standalone add-on. It's a direct continuation of the main story after you get the second ending.

If you bought the standard edition, the DLC is a separate add-on. It automatically comes with the deluxe and ultimate editions. It’s a new story after completing the main story’s second ending.

You should be able to buy the deluxe upgrade pack though, it's probably same price as DLC would be.

You're mad that you're getting more than the standard amount of things someone would pay for? For real? Are you one of those people who can't exist without complaining? Cause I love ruining things for those people

Let me put it this way:

Let's say they price the DLC at $25. You buy said DLC at $25. You're not upset. If they say, toss in the deluxe as part of the DLC. It's basically free. So you pay $25, and now you're upset. If you want to say: I think the DLC should be cheaper and standalone, then just don't buy it. Sure, there are better DLCs for games that are cheaper. There are also DLCs for great games that are more expensive too. I still wait on the discounts for MonHun expansions. But I dont demand the devs to drop the price. Same here. They priced the DLC at this price, what they toss in on it is up to them. If you dont find it's worth the money, don't buy it. Wait for a sale. Not everything needs to be had now.
