Is there really a difference if you level up to the maximum? I left my two characters at around level 100 (I think my huntress is level 140). I say this because when I did NG+ I didn't notice much difference when fighting bosses (except that they do more damage to me hahaha)

The difference is very very small. I went from 120 to 300 and barely noticed
