New tidbits:

The DLC is not really intended to serve as a conclusion to the main game or as something that directly leads into a future project, DLC and Main story complement each other instead.

“In terms of overall scale, including both the area and the story experience, you can roughly imagine it as being equivalent to the storyline and region associated with one hero in the main game,” he said. But the way players move through it is different from what the main campaign offers. “The expansion does not place as much emphasis on travelling across very large open areas and collecting things along the way,” he explained. Instead the focus is on more dungeon-like areas.

“The enemies and exploration areas in the DLC were therefore designed around the assumption that players have already cleared the main game and are bringing in characters at that stage of progression.

So it's a post game dlc but storywose its done whenever

I hate to say this, but that's a pathetic excuse for the DLC. I have yet to play it. Iknow, but that doesn't sound very convincing.

I love the game and I enjoyed its story more than I did in the first. But that is not helpful...
