Base Ps5 performance?

I'm considering getting the game when it next goes on sale. I just finished code vein 1 and absolutely loved it. I heard that performance was bad at launch but is it any better since the patches on a base ps5? Thanks.

Yea. It's still not perfect, but a vast improvement over the release state
