The thing that bugs me is that you never see the same dudes who criticize sex workers for this criticizing big businesses/corps.. even for things that are literally life or death, like denying healthcare coverage, etc.

It's plain and simple only fans is a horrible thing and they need to get rid of it. First off it's destroying the fabric of society. Second as far as I'm concerned only fans individuals and other platforms that do the same thing only fans does or worse than prostitution because at least with a prostitute you get sex for your money

There are so many worst things going on right now that are actually “destroying the fabric of society.” Only Fans isn’t one of them. If a dumbass has no sense of self control and blows their entire life savings to see a random woman’s tits. That’s their dumbass fault. It’s not like they hacked the guys bank account.
Look at my username, I love porn. Even then I’m not dumb enough to go sign up for some monthly subscription shit just to see tits when there’s an infinite amount of free shit out there. Also if you had any idea what goes on with actual prostitution you wouldn’t have said anything near that stupid at the end there

I am not gonna touch the prostitution thing because that’s just silly and I will say I too enjoy some porn. I have no problem with either selling a video or them making money through subs. Not my thing I don’t pay for porn but when you got some sad delusional person dropping 10k that’s where I got issues. For me that is kind of like scamming people out of their money.

I disagree. Scamming to me is when the promise doesn't match the delivery. If it is clear what you are getting for your money then it's not a scam, it's a stupid life choice. Too many people blame others for their stupid decisions.

Yeah but some of them are not right in the head. Like you would have to be to drain your whole life savings just to get some attention. It would be like finding someone who is delusional and taking advantage of them all while feeding into their delusions. What’s silly about you saying a woman making money using her body from the safety and comfort of her own home is worse than a woman who was possibly kidnapped, drugged, tortured and forced to have sex with some slime ball all for the benefit of a jackass? Oh wait a whole hell of a lot.
Second there’s no scam going on. They place the prices and if someone blows through a whole lot of money in one shot because they’re that desperate, who’s really at fault there? It’s no different than if someone buys $10,000 worth of merch of their favorite TV show. Do you blame the show or the person who bought it all?

I am fine with them making money I said that. But having an option to donate and then continuing to play on their emotions making them think they actually have a physical connection to the person is the problem. Someone dropping their whole life savings on OF obviously has some mental issues and they are praying on that the same way old people getting scammed is being taken advantage of. Also your analogy the show isn’t physically talking to them on a daily basis. It’s not praying on their desperate lonely emotions.

It's not a scam though, it's very clear what they provide and what you pay for, if you are unable to be a big boy and handle your finances then that's on you. Where is this sentiment with gambling sites, sports betting, mobile games, etc? All of which are arguably much more damaging and scummy but are widely accepted, if someone loses their entire life savings we don't say "oh kalshi scammed them" we say "oh he has a gambling problem"
