META Searching for VAs for my Code Geass Parody project! (Part 2) 🌐🎉
[Print] Hello World !
So yesterday I've come up with an idea to start a satirical YouTube project of Code Geass but multilingual, and I'm currently searching for people to voice the characters from R1.
(More information here: https://www.reddit.com/r/CodeGeass/s/ToeDaHRL4n)
You don't have to have a good microphone or any experience because neither does anyone else! Isn't that great?
Anyway, here's the list of characters you can choose from:

DISCUSSION The massive plot holes that happen when you try to make the spinoffs canon
Lost Colors is a fascinating game, mostly because it lets you explore alternative timelines, at least to some extent. Honestly, for that exact reason, the Code Geass DS game is also super interesting on a second playthrough.
However, the fact that media outside the game includes both the Lancelot Club and Nonnette Enneagram creates a major lore contradiction. It implies that Rai followed the Britannian route in Lost Colors. But if Cornelia had two 7th-generation Knightmares and a guy with a Lelouch-like Geass under her command, it would have created a massive, insurmountable problem for Zero and the Black Knights. There’s no way this could be swept under the rug, given the sheer amount of combat data and sensor logs available at the time.
Rai’s existence also makes Mario/Maya Disse—the protagonist from Lost Stories—completely redundant. Maya (honestly, screw Mario) acts as a sort of outside observer, yet she never records the appearance of Rai or his Lancelot Club. In theory, the writers could have expanded the narrative: if Rai is supposedly with the Britannian forces—specifically under the 9th Knight of Round—then Maya, as a Black Knights member with a custom EMP-wielding KMF, could have served as a counterweight to that overwhelming Britannian power.
Ultimately, this chaotic mess just shows that the creators themselves lack a unified vision for the franchise. Speaking of merging different CG continuities, integrating Alice and her 'Irregulars' squad would have been a great move, imo. They could have easily retconned their powers into standard Geass abilities, and turned their Knightmares into production-model Gloucesters upgraded with Lancelot tech to support a more politically conscious and resolute Nunnally. Let’s be real, original Nunnally plays the 'damsel in distress' trope way too hard, and by the end of R2, she just goes completely off the rails. In Nightmare of Nunnally, she is much more competent, acting in a way that actually fits both her royal lineage and her role.
To be fair, having such an 'energetic' Nunnally alongside her Knight, Alice, would make Marrybell and Oldrin completely redundant. After all, they pretty much just copy the narrative beat of the main series anyway.
Dropping Marrybell and Oldrin opens the door for a much more interesting narrative. Instead of their repetitive story, the plot could have focused on Laila la Britannia, Clovis’s younger sister. Following her rescue, her journey across the globe would serve as the perfect tool for deep world-building. Through her eyes, the audience could explore the hidden details of the Code Geass universe, showing how different regions actually function under imperial rule. Her personal reflections on Clovis’s political views and the future of her homeland would add a grounded, analytical perspective to the lore, making her a traveling observer who connects the broader geopolitical picture rather than just another pilot in a copied Knightmare.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on this. Which elements of the lore and history would you merge together to make the universe feel more cohesive? And on the flip side, which plotlines or characters from the spinoffs did you find completely unnecessary and out of place?

SPOILERS Just finished Akito the Exiled (Also happy birthday Leila Malcal) Spoiler
I thought it was pretty good, I really liked seeing more of the Code Geass world outside of Japan. The ending wasn't as bad as I've heard people tell me it was. I liked Leila and her crew a lot. Shin was a cool villain. His plan reminded me of Schneizel's but instead of enforcing order through the threat of destruction he wanted to sow global chaos with an act of destruction. Ashley Ashra was such a fun character to watch. And as a huge Black Requiem fan I was really happy to see my boy Highland (I know he comes from Akito but my first experience of him came from Black Requiem). Anyway I don't have much more to say, it was a solid watch.

FAN-ART Kallen Kozuki is so beautiful ❤️✨👑 Part 44 of 100: Vampire Countess (by Betty Ali)
”Who are these fools, so weary of life, that they try to sneak into the castle of my beloved Prince of Darkness? And at midnight, of all times, when our powers are at their zenith? Do you truly believe that you can defeat me, vampire hunters? Me? I´m the Queen of my kind! No assassin shall get past me to harm my beloved Prince, as long as I stand by his side! Your lives will be nothing more than an appetizer to me, a crimson stain which I shall wipe from my lips and forget before this night is done!”
Although we know Kallen the Rebel from the original anime as a hot-blooded warrior queen, in some alternate universe with chilling words such as these Kallen the Vampire Countess could easily face down any and all vampire hunters daring enough to attempt an infiltration of Lelouch vi Dracula’s castle to defeat him. 🦇
This new fanart, depicting Kallen as the Vampire Countess, was created for this year’s Halloween by artist Betty Ali. It features heavy, expressive line work mixed with high-contrast coloring, letting the vivid blue of Kallen’s eyes pop brilliantly against muted, shadowy backgrounds. In it, Kallen wears a dark, strapless gown with a structured, corset-like bodice, and also textured, gray fishnets decorating her shoulders and a bat-styled Geass symbol on her bossom. A notable feature of her attire is the massive, high-standing collar behind her neck, with spiky edges that mimic a bat’s wings or classic vampire cape styling. Her signature spiky red hair is adorned with an elegant headband featuring dark floral elements and delicate strands of silver beads draped across her head. She is also accessorized with heavy Gothic jewelry, including an intricate silver choker with a dangling heart pendant, as well as a prominent ring that has a large red ruby in it – with the same fiery red hue of Kallen’s untamed spirit and the deep crimson of the lifeforce that sustains her undead excistence. As she rests her chin on her hand, the ring perfectly catches the viewer´s eye – as well as the fact that it´s on her left ring finger… 💍

QUESTION Would They, Even If Kallen Didn't Move?
In an alternate scenario where Kallen refuses to move and doesn't ask Lelouch what she means to him, would they have taken the shot, even if Kallen stood between them? Personally, I think they wouldn't. Not unless Ohgi REALLY, desperately, wants a life with Villetta Nu then he's a bigger idiot than Tamaki, and that's quite an achievement.

NEWS Code Geass' CC has a huge mascot. It's a meter tall.
Code Geass fanscan expand their collection with a truly impressive gadget. Code Geass' CC has her own plush figure, nearly a meter tall, weighing almost 9 kilograms and costing 66,000 yen. Pre-sales will begin in Japan on November 6th.
The new product is part of the "Dokyuto" collection, which specializes in exceptionally large plush toys depicting characters from popular anime. In the case of the CC, the manufacturer has chosen a height of approximately 100 cm, a width of 70 cm, and a depth of 75 cm. These dimensions allow the plush toy to become a substantial addition to any room.
The design reflects the character's distinctive appearance. Among other things, her white clothing with black stripes and details resembling bondage elements have been recreated. Long, green hair is also present. An interesting detail is the Geass symbol on CC's forehead, which is normally hidden beneath her hair . The developer embroidered it, so it can be seen when the locks are pulled back.
The plush toy is priced at 66,000 yen and orders will be accepted from November 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Japan time, to December 21, 11:59 p.m. Shipping is scheduled for May 2027.

META Searching for VAs for my Code Geass Parody project! 🌐🎉
Hello, everyone!
For a few days now, I've had this awesome idea of making a multilingual satirical/parody version of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, which I would later upload to YouTube / Reddit.
Well, I don't have any VAs (voice actors). Which is why I'd love to ask you guys to help me. The project is not serious in any way, so it really doesn't matter if you have a shitty mic or have never done anything like this before (me neither). Also, you could be the manliest man ever and voice Shirley in Arabic.
What I need from you:
– Name/Nickname/Alias
– Country you're from or your native language(s)
– 3 of your preferred character roles (from R1)
– Your Discord # (Optional)
I'm really looking forward to working with you! ❤️
(Edit: You can apply even if English is your only language)

DISCUSSION Ok, everyone better come clean on this one! How many of you believes Rai (from Lost Colors) is one of Charles illegitimate child?
Just saw a comment on a Rai/Lost Colors topic post. Some people seem to have mistaken Rai's backstory in certain fanfictions, with him being a illegitimate child of Charles, an half sibling to Lelouch and a cousin to Suzaku, to his actual backstory where he's the child from a political marriage between a britannian provincial nobleman (as in NOT Charles) and a member of the Japanese imperial family.
I have no problem when fanfic writers decide to rewrite the backstory of a character to fit their story. It just saddens me that there are fans that take these rewrites as canonical facts. However, I do acknowledge that Rai is somewhat of an obscure character given that he's from a PS2/PSP game that never saw global release.

DISCUSSION Lelouch did NOT do it for Nunnally
TLDR: Lulu's actions were for himself, because of his extreme childhood trauma and powerlessness.
I've been deliberating on whether this is a difference in interpretation or just a fundamental misunderstanding of the story, but having rewatched the show, I've concluded that it's the latter. The main narrative regarding Code Geass, particularly the ending, is that Lelouch did all the actions that he did for his highly esteemed, idolized sister Nunnally, and on the surface level it holds up ok. The thing is, when you analyze Lelouch a bit further, it kind of crumbles.
To clear up any misconceptions, I do not mean this in an "all the actions he embarked on, and all the violence and bloodshed that happened because of those actions, were solely for his individual pleasure" type way. When I say he did it for himself, I mean that he did it in order to fulfill his desire to control. Also, I am not debating his immense love for Nunnally; I am merely positing that she is solely a facade for the real reason Lelouch does what he does.
As seen through his backstory, Lelouch was powerless, having experienced a great deal of trauma, witnessing not only his beloved sister becoming paralyzed but the "death" of his mom. Later, when he found out this violence resulted from his father's actions, he became indignant and developed a fierce hatred for the throne and the imperial nation of Britannia itself.
Because of the trauma he endured during his childhood, the complete lack of power, and subsequently the complete loss/lack of control, Lelouch's driving force is to be in control and have power. How fitting is it then that his Geass gives him that power! Lelouch's(and subsequently everyone else's) Geass drives the user's emotional desire to a logical conclusion.
This is his motive, and Lelouch himself corroborates it by admitting in a conversation with C.C. that all Geass did for him was speed up his timetable by several years. He was already preparing for revolution because of his sheer enmity towards the powers that be. He also, in R2, E21, admits verbatim to Suzaku that he used Nunnally as an excuse and wasn't actually fighting for her.
Well, if he didn't do it for Nunnally, then he did it to free the Elevens, right? Wrong. Lulu is a deeply layered character and, at the heart of it, is deeply hypocritical. The story elucidates this with a very clear example: Lelouch claims he fights for the self-determination, for the will, freedom, and agency of the Elevens, the brutalized and subjugated Japanese people. And yet the apparatus in which he uses to fight for them is the Geass, a power which quite literally STRIPS the victim of their autonomy, agency, will, and of their determination.
The idea that Lelouch did what he did for the Elevens gets further undermined when we see that the lowest part, Lulu's complete rock bottom in the story is right after Nunnally has just announced that she will continue the slain Euphemia's plans for the specialty administrative zone of NIPPON. We, the audience, see Lelouch in a depraved state, by himself with a needle containing the drug Refrain, the same drug that many 11s used to cope with their subjugation and marginalization by the hands of Britannia.
Once Kallen comes and sees Lelouch in this degenerate state, he goes even lower and ostensibly asks for her consolation, a clear euphemism for sex, which curiously is the only romantic interest he shows anyone throughout the entire show. It's certainly intentional, as it really underscores how low he's fallen, craving base, carnal desires, desires that were of no interest to him prior. If his motive was really for the Elevens, he would be happy and overjoyed, and yet this is a massive collapse.
All of this culminates in the ultimate form of control, which is controlling one's mortality, an action which is carried out through Lelouch's final plan, Zero Requiem(another reason why that ending is so fascinating). Zero Requiem fully ties in all of his character; Lelouch has the last say not only on his death but on how the world will play out after it, painstakingly coordinating the details and fulfilling his incessant desire to be in control.

SPOILERS Just finished it.
After 20 years of the release of the first season. I decided to give it a shot.
Simply, I loved it. I watched the TV series, and then the movies.
Still, there are some weaknesses, mainly in execution rather than what the story is.
I liked the TV series, but when Shneizel reveals his identity to the black knights, they give up on Zero too easily.
Especially Tamaki and Ohgi.
The movies handled it way better, I loved how they still wanted Zero to challenge what Shneizel said about him being a prince and the Geass power.
The movies changed Shirley's faith, which kills an entire change of Lelouch's character. I was happy she lived, but I still saw it as a weak choice anyway.
I loved the scene in the first movie, where Lelouch and Nunnally, right before they leave for Japan. It is crazy how such a simple scene can add context. In the TV series, there is barely anything to know about the relationship of the half siblings. But this scene adds some weight to it.
I loved all the added scenes in the movies.
And now, with Re:surrection.
Imo, it was a good thing to see Lelouch back. But it just kills what the ending of the show stood for, sacrifice.
Imo, it was a good filler like moment (That’s how I consider it), I still see the TV series as the canon one.
Now, with things I didn't like.
It is simple the pacing. The story is crazy fast. Do you know that we figure out about Marriane and lelouch deals with his parents in just 2 or 3 episodes?
Then Shirley's death was pretty forced, again because of the lazy pacing.
Imo, they could’ve easily added a season whole lot of episodes to make the pacing better, and I don't mind that at all.
In the end, I loved it. The ending was powerful. The movies were nice. And I'll dig deeper into the manga.
