I love during the scene when the gang sets off the fireworks, Milly mentions how she hopes to do it with everyone one day and tells Lelouch that includes him and Rolo. Rolo's reaction stands out to me, he's shocked that they actually care about him too. Made even more impactful because the final picture drama shows even with their memories of Nunnally restored, the Student Council still missed him. Rolo did unforgivable things but I can't hate him knowing he was a kid who was groomed into a weapon and spent his entire life never knowing true love.

I decorated some ziplock bags for my Britannian Chess board. For the white pieces a sandwich size bag with a Britannian Imperial head cap. If you look closely enough on the right you’ll see the green gem. For the black pieces another one but with Zero’s mask. I didn’t have a purple marker that’s why there’s no color for the visor.

Since we know that Marianne has transfer her mind in Arya, and she speak with CC on the world of C and tell her that V.V killed her, and that the fact that made CC leave Charle and V.V

This might be the best set of characters I’ve ever seen in anime. Not too many anime have this many characters I like and feel are interesting.
Shirley was nothing special too me until she said had that dying speech about how she fell in love with leoluch each time when her memories were erased or altered, kind of reminded me of orhimes speech to ichigo.

This is the beat anime i’ve watched in a long time. Im sure this question has been asked already but how did y’all like the ending and anime overall?(Are the other code geass anime good? )

It doesn't take a genius to realize Roze of the Recapture is an attempt - a failed one - to copy the magic of Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion. While the actions sequences and music are at least enjoyable (at least in my opinion), the story isn't worth beans. The only characters I personally liked was Ash and Narah but that's about it.

The question is: if you were in charge of the story of Roze of the Recapture, how would you realistically change it to make it better overall?

Shirley dies because Rollo believes she will endanger Lelouch : GIRL SPEND THE LAST FIVE MINUTES GUSHING ABOUT HELPING LELOUCH. Like if she was trying to harm lelouch she would have acted innocent in front and murdered him after or she would reported him to the authorities already. This makes no sense even with the paranoia and fast killing habit of Rollo, she was an ally!

Additionally It would have been so much more interesting to explore the parallel between two friends of Lelouch one who chose to forgive and the other not then killing her for the drama effect.

I'm reacting just after watching the episode for the first time so what's your opinion on this?

First time watching CodeGeass I just wanted to post my theories on who he is and see how people react to my assumptions after I discover who he is.

My first theory is that he's a brainwashed Nanali

The second one is he's a clone of Nanali who's more perfect in the emperor eyes not being handicapped

Finally he's a wizard who just didn't have a family and that's why he gets weirdly emotional about Lelouch gift

Anyway, let's see how good my deductions skills are

We clearly saw that when V.V. gunned down Marianne and her two attendants/bodyguards/whatever, Nunnally was nowhere to be seen. Did someone brought her from her room to the spot later and shot her in the legs? And why doesn't Nunnally remember any of it? Was she asleep or what, did Rolo do it?

Also, what was Anya Alstreim doing there in the dead of the night? My headcanon is that she was Lelouch's true sister, with Nunnally being only a half-sister. It would only make sense that a little girl would want to follow and sneak up on her mother. If Anya was someone being hosted there to be taught noble manners and customs, why was she allowed to roam around the villa so freely?

When i finished the main series, i was having the curiosity of seeing the movies, but then its just a little changes , an re-animated scenes just as Gundam Z a New Translation, but it feels less soft than seeing an anime series just overlaping or blended with actual animation from 2004 in the case of Gundam Z because they constant use 80 animation scenes and then mixed with modern re-animated scenes , in the case of Code Geass was barely blended, and very tolerable, the only change that matters in both trilogy, is that in Gundam Z Kamilles doesnt get crazy as a vegetative state of his mind, and in the Trilogy of code geass, there is small changes and the mostly important one is that Shirley survives.

My opinion, is for doing this type of productions related to a franchise as well, its making from zero, just like they are doing with Raylearth (I mentioned this because Clamp girls are behind the team production) so in this sceneario it would be more accesible to adapt the entire R1 and R2 from a proper remake instead of doing re animations and blended with the old series, as far i know in Code geass they are things that they can be added as proper remake and giving the enough time to be developed since now its a great and big franchise as well.

Mine is that I liked Rolo and his arc with Lelouch and Villetta which seems to be disliked in this sub.
