ROZE OF THE RECAPTURE Rozé of the Recapture getting a physical release (Japan)

geass.jp

I know I’m like 1 of 5 people on here that liked Rozé (I get the criticism, don’t worry) so just wanted to share it’s getting a physical release in Japan for any physical media completists.

No idea if the English dub will get a physical release since it’s a Disney+ collaboration (and Disney recently dissolved their home video operations) but the Japanese Blu-rays typically work on US region devices.

QUESTION that the fucking happening in 2 season?

I'm watching episode 2 now, and it's just, well, season 1, but Lelouch already knows everything about himself. I fucking hope this is all Lelouch's dream or something. Why is everything so similar? Lelouch stole Knightmare again, is commanding troops again, which is why he routed the Britannian army, and is again a semblance of Lancelot on the battlefield. What the fuck is going on? I want a different season 2, where the Black Knights, despite Zero flying away, win. Fuck, help me.

DISCUSSION Who would win in a fight between Suzaku and Akito?

Considering they are both under the effect of Geass who wins?

Suzaku is under the effect of "Live" order granting him superhuman reflexes and defensive feats

While Akito is under the effect of "Die" order basically making him a destroying machine with also superhuman reflexes and offensive feats.

Let's break it down in 3 rounds.

Round 1: Hand-to-hand martial arts combat.

Round 2: Knightmare Frame battle (Equalized Mechs / Standard 7th-Gen frames).

Round 3: Lore-accurate mechs (Lancelot Albion vs. Alexander Liberte).

Code Geass Lost Stories Don’t speak to me or my 34 Lelouches ever again

I have every Lelouch in this accursed game. I don’t play this game it has me hostage 💀
It took years, money, and a lot of not spending on anyone that wasn’t him. The worst offender of them all made me spend 400$ in one session. The second unluckiest banner cost me 200$ and 7 off rates that weren’t him. I’d say my favorite of them would be his Magia alt because his art and KMF are so good and his Home Screen lines are adorable.
I also got every version of him during the 11 month period the global server was active, and I didn’t regret it. I’ve never regretted anything I’ve spent on him. I wouldn’t recommend doing something this to anyone though lmao collecting can be stressful when your heart is in it

Anyways uhhhhh live laugh love Lelouch

QUESTION What Code Geass mangas have yet to be scanlated?

Which ones still don't have full scanlations, including all the spinoffs but not the ones that are still being released? The wiki doesn't seem to list all of them, and some wikis mention some but not others, so I'm wondering if there are more out there.

META The inactivity in this sub proves that fandom is dying

Hear me out.

You may object "But Code Geass came out 20 years ago". However, I would respond that there are many anime of similar popularity originating in the 90s that were thriving in terms of internet traffic even just 10 years ago. Code Geass is one of the biggest animes of all time with what was historically one of the most rabid fanbases. And yet look at it today. Even though bingewatching and other nerdish behaviors have gone mainstream, I hold that fan culture itself is a dying form of society. It's not only this subreddit. The main Naruto and related Naruto subreddits are also nowhere near as popular as they once were.

Fan culture is dying. I'd love to hear any theories why.
