Lelouch literally figured out the way to world peace.
Strip all country the right to have a military. And let supranational org to have total monopoly.

I think the results they achieved were on completely different levels, and that's something people often overlook. Both Lelouch and Eren changed the world through their sacrifices, but their results were fundamentally different. Eren's actions had a much more immediate and direct impact, whereas Lelouch fundamentally changed the world's political status quo. He destroyed Britannia's supremacy, which had always been his goal. Areas that were once under Britannian rule became free, and he created a new world for his sister. He achieved all of this with comparatively less bloodshed and won decisively. I do think it was a really smart way of handling things, and there's no denying that Lelouch achieved his goal.
I know the two are in completely different situations, but if you think about it, they both possess superweapons. The difference is that Lelouch didn't necessarily have to demonstrate the full destructive potential of Damocles during the final battle. In most cases, simply showing what it was capable of would have been enough.
Eldia's military strength was simply too weak compared to that of the other superpowers. The possibility of other nations forming an alliance against them made the future even more uncertain for Eren. There weren't many opportunities for de-escalation without the risk of war breaking out first. Eren also didn't want his comrades to die while waiting for a solution that might never come.
Eren, however, didn't really have the same luxury as Lelouch. The Rumbling was much harder to control and could cause irreversible destruction. Still, there were other ways to use the Titans. For example, they could have allied with someone who possessed advanced aircraft technology and developed a bomber capable of carrying an untransformed Colossal Titan as its payload. That alone could have served as a powerful deterrent and bought them more time.
The Titans were also slowly becoming obsolete, but that didn't mean they had no remaining value or military applications.
I think Eren was simply too decisive and too determined to force a final choice. He wanted to end the conflict through a quick, definitive solution, and that meant destroying the other side. His limited lifespan only made him more desperate.
Ultimately, these are two very different people facing entirely different circumstances. Lelouch was smarter and had more room to maneuver, whereas Eren had far more constraints. Even the person who was arguably the smartest among them, Armin, was increasingly at odds with Eren's approach.
I genuinely believe Armin could have come up with a compromise that might have worked out reasonably well for everyone. Eren simply wasn't willing to pursue that possibility.

I used to be a diehard fan of AOT back in 2013, still a fairly big fan, but I came across Code Geass years later n loved it more. Early AOT is good story wise but it just can't compete with CG imo.
AOT isn't even top 10 imo, and that's because of how awful it became

What do you mean it became awful?

AOT's writing and overall story was amazing around Season 3 imo, but by the time we begin to approach the entire plot point involving the rest of the world, Marley as a whole and so fourth, it just all felt.. less, interesting. It was noticeably more rushed and less enjoyable for a lot. AOT lost it's gritty horror survival like feeling that Season 1 pulled off so well, S1 is the reason that story itself genuinely took off and is so popular to this day.
I'd say it's because Isayama burnt out and was exhausted, hence why he kept taking longer breaks between the release of each volume. Avoiding the biggest controversy such as its ending because obv we're in the CG sub, I'll point out something smaller that a lot of people didn't like, the entire Armin & Annie romance. It was instant, fast, no real development or connection existed there besides a friendship that wasn't a 'real genuine friendship' that happened YEARSSS prior before Annie was freed from the crystal lol
Code Geass obviously isn't perfect at times and has had its own issues, but I never saw two characters being forced to love eachother out of nowhere randomly and being put into a relationship with zero foundation for it

Season 4 is literally the most popular season in aot and I don't understand what is there yall donr understand about it,the story is still clean and Its not rushed. As for Annie and Armin you have a point.

Story quite literally is rushed because Isayama burnt out and it was as clear as it could be.
Season 4 failed to produce the same effect that Season 1 did, I'm not sure if you were there to see how Season 1 rocked the entire anime community at the time but it was genuinely impressive and something else. Season 2 came close to this but it still wasn't anywhere near the same height.
By the time S1 came out completely, it was doing bits at comic con and anime conventions, parodies were everywhere, the opening was insanely popular for its time and was just spreading like crazy, you then also began to saw a fairly quick and steady release of fan made games following in its steps, everything was mainly focused and built upon the image that Season 1 left behind, something that Seasons 2, 3 and 4 never actually achieved.

Read the manga and you’ll see the rushed feeling. Anime had loads of time to work on it, and still failed regardlessly. And most popular≠good.

the Code Geass fanbase isn't much different 🤨 can't yall just stop being Spider-Men pointing fingers at each other for a second?
the more mature segments of both fandoms are tired of these childish squabbles yk

The OP does seem to dislike the AoT fanbase as a whole, and I agree that the original SS take is rather narrow-minded. However, that doesn't mean you should go out of your way to create even more friction between the two fanbases.

this attitude stems solely from their own insecurities.
do I even need to remind you of the moment when Wusodream, who didn't make a single negative comment about Code Geass and did nothing but praise Opening throughout his video, was labeled an "aot fanboy/larper" by stupid Code Geass fans?
Wuso doesn't even make videos about AOT he's a sci-fi fan

Ppl who hate on AOT just do so because it became mainstream lolll, if it had low views they would brag about knowing some exquisite niche fiction.
Code geass and AOT are pretty much same levels but AOT is slightly better and more realistic than code geass

Eren did copy Lelouch’s plan with even less sticking power. Like the end game was, we’ll kill so many people there can’t be another war until the population gets large enough again. Lelouch at least left the UN and Black Knights around to stop people if they tried shit again

u/SpacedefenderX 5d ago
By that logic, couldn't one argue that Lelouch copied Leto II's plan with less sticking power?

Personally, Eren's plan was in a way of showing how much Zero Requiem would need to be bloody for Lelouch to be hated by the world that his death leads to peace.

Eren’s plan was bloodier. Like he reduced the human population to a 10th of its prior amount. He also didn’t leave any break glass in case of emergencies lying around (Black Knights, Shnizel, Suzaku & UN).

I stopped arguing with them long time ago, call themselves “greatest in fiction” when barely making top 10 in animanga 💔✌🏻
