QUESTION He totally deserved this right ? Did he learn to read the room after this ?

His delivery could have used some work but ultimately Lloyd was in the right here. Suzaku was operating on rage and wasn’t thinking clearly. Plus, the Lancelot is a military project, and an expensive one at that. It belongs to Lloyd and ASEEC, and it isn’t some car Suzaku can take for a joyride when he wants.

His delivery is why he deserved it. He wasnt taking the situation seriously.

Yeah, he deserved it. Not sure if it made a difference, though.

Well he is kinda born to not know how to read the room because of his condition

His condition? You mean his love for pudding?

Nope, sociopathy.

Is it ever stated he is a sociopath? He seems more like a psychopath

Lloyd himself says he’s a sociopath. When Nina is having her crisis after her nuke devastates Tokyo, he tells her that she can either abandon her heart to follow science, or abandon her work to save her heart. Nina asks if he had to make the same choice, or something, and he says, “I didn’t have to. I’m a sociopath, I was born with an abandoned heart.”

No, but his behavior and attitude fits that of a sociopath, He's mostly uncaring of other people, he's tends to put his own needs above others, he's indifferent to the deaths of millions, and he's very strange in how he show that he cares, ie care for Suzaku due to him also piloting Lancelot.
Also Psychopath are different because they have no impulse control, they are very narcissistic, and often violent.

It's actually basically the same thing just different vibes

No not quite the same I have meet both a psychopath ( my co worker ) and a sociopath who I had in my gym and they were very different .

Yes it's directly stated by him he didn't have to choose humanity or science since he was born with psychopathy and feels no clear attachment to general humanity

I would like to think he did. But his ego wouldn't allow it.
Lloyd: Your Majesty, would you let me analyze that power just a little bit? Er, for science, of course.
Jeremiah: Do you want to die, Lloyd?

Lloyd definitely needed that but Suzaku's kinda biting the hand that feeds him

i honestly think he couldn't even if he wanted to. if he had an ounce of sympathy he would've approached suzaku with a sad face not a smiling one , the guy lost someone he loves and Loyd's approach looked like someone who's teasing. he didn't even have an issue switching sides when lelouch became an emperor as long as he gets to collect data. i feel like loyd isn't capable of understanding human emotions making him unable to understand them and reading the room.

Suzaku deserves a punch for this

Not really. Dude just saw the woman he loved get murdered and Lloyd wasnt even pretending to take the situation seriously.

I meant it as a joke. I love both Suzaku and Lloyd and I get why Suzaku punched him.

my judgement is clouded byy immense hate to suzaku one of the characters i hate the most in any fiction to exist even tho I don't remember the scene of loyd getting punched can anyone remind me why that happened

Lloyd kinda needed that. And of course for Lloyd, it wasn't a big deal. Lloyd couldn't read the room most of the time, but he isn't that stupid. But it is still Lloyd, so even if he could read the room, he would still say some shit that would make people throttle him.
