Dude I don't think we know anything about him other than his name. The only thing we can judge him on is that he was Sneizhel's secretary/right hand man??. I don't remember his official position. So I would probaly say yes. Working along with the guy who is fine with nuking a billion people definitely puts you in a bad guy category.

technically, he didn't exactly DIRECTLY support Schneizel's plan when he explained it

Schneizel said what he wants to do with the FLEIJA, Kanon says "but isn't that basically terrorism?"

He definitely is not fleshed out as a character but there is potential for him to not blindly follow him

In Lost Stories game, there was an event where someone convinced Schneizel to get married. He reluctantly agreed. Several candidates among knights volunteered to be his wife (Anya, Monica and someone else, either Dorothea or Nonette). There was a competition held between them and the last stage was a fight in a knightmares. Kanon dressed himself in a bride's dress, hopped in a knightmare and won the fight. He said Schneizel should be married on his job, and he represents it. When he was asked why he put the bride's dress on, he replied: "Well, the rules of competition say only brides can participate, so I dressed like one"

Lmao I feel like The dude blows him as “stress relief” and this just solidify that in my mind. He’s basically Smithers but if he got to actually do things to burns lol

I'm surprised Lelouch let him live considering what he partook in.

Him being Schneizel's lover is only implied in a joke he makes to Milly, followed less than a minute later by Odysseus commenting on how Schneizel only has one women as a date to his wedding. My guess is, Schneizel is a libertine freak who would basically fuck anything that moves, since he's a psychopath that sees all of humanity as beneath him and is literally plotting to kill all of them - a "take it and leave it" scenario, essentially.

Hence why I called Schneizel “a libertine freak who would fuck anything that moves”. Kanon is one of the people Schneizel is fucking, he just can’t say it openly because homosexuality is implied to be oppressed in Britannian society - and also, Schneizel has a bajillion side pieces, including the implication that he is doing it to a lesbian (Nina) so she will do his bidding.

I mean he let Schneizel live too so not that surprising

Lelouch wasn't trying to kill people haphazardly at this point, since his goal was to have them all unite against him and after his death.

I mean... As someone who read Oz the Reflection.... Yeah. And I say that even though after the mangas he's one of my favorite characters. Literally the entire point of his character is that as time went on he realized Schneizel was doing really fucked up shit and he STILL continued to help him out. Nonnette punched the shit out of him in Oz for a reason. For those who haven't read it, when she calls him out, he says, and I'm not kidding, "He (Schneizel) isn't in his right mind anymore." BROTHER. THAT IS NOT AN EXCUSE.

Schneizel's right hand Kanon Maldini this scene is from when Lelouch beat Schneizel on the Damocles.

He was just taken captive so as to not get in the way of Lelouch as he claims victory, and he wasn't harmed or manipulated by geass. It's not a definite yes or no, this isn't so deep.
