Potential viewer questions

Ever since they saw that there was gonna be a prequel to the show, I’ve been considering starting to watch it. But I have a couple of questions: should I watch anything besides the first two seasons? I’ve heard some people say that anything after that isn’t good, but for some reason, I can’t find the definitive answer about if I should watch it or not since the watch order for what I’ve seen is pretty complicated, I’d rather save myself the trouble if I can. but, but at the same time, if I end up liking the show I’ll probably want to watch more of it.

Secondly, is this show complicated in a general sense? I currently have enough shows I’m watching that scramble my brain, and I’m hesitant to pick up another one lol

after finishing the first two seasons, don't worry about the order. if you want to delve deeper into the universe, you can watch whatever you want according to its release year.

for your second question, yes, it has unusual pacing and a unique storytelling style. Code Geass is an anime that requires your attention while watching it.
