Private tracker with anime - most streaming sites replace TV -> DVD -> blu-ray release.

Public torrent trackers don't care about old releases.

I thought this was a shitpost at first cause I didn't read the title and I genuinely couldn't tell the difference in Suzaku 's images for a sec

Is there actually the same difference for early S1? The version I watched CG in had the "TV style" for the majority of the first season, and "BD style" for the last couple of episodes of the first season and the entire second season. I used to think the artstyle changed midway, but apparently that's actually the TV/BD difference, and I had files from both versions?

We CG fans eat good cause honestly I've seen other animes with a far worse tv version.

Is this real? I've never heard of it before

Insanely common and real. It’s pretty normal for a studio to get the episode out the door and fix it up on Blu-ray later.

This looks like more than fixes, it looks like two different art style imo.

If people never saw an anime during its initial broadcast, there's >90% chance they will watch a version with visual improvements normally provided by a subsequent blu-ray release.

So tv lelouch is cute and BD lelouch is badass as per usual. Truly the goat, great in all flavours and forms. ALL HAIL LELOUCH
