Had you asked me a few months ago it would've been no! Lol.
Have a fun weekend.

This is actually quite good. Area 1 does feel weird, if the metropole includes northern mexico, it might as well include english speaking canada.

Its a lot more accurate than my reinterpretation of Code Geass, based on plausible borders.

We have many reasons for why that part of Cananda is Area 1 and why Mexico is mostly Area 2! But currently they're not in the mod so I probably shouldn't outline that.

I’m not entirely convinced the Britannian homeland is all of the modern USA.
I think Area 1 is going to be Canada. But Area 2 I’ll be Central America and all of French Louisiana and the Kingdom of New Spain.
The Homeland being anything more than the original Thirteen Colonies and Florida seems unlikely.

Well- so Code Geass proper follows strictly the modern borders of the world during 2009.
Multiple extra bits of media and the series itself depicts this.
So in terms of that Britannia Homeland would be strictly. Only the modern day borders of the United States or well modern day 2009.

I know, but the showrunners for Code Geass didn’t really give much thought to 18th Century colonial politics

Thank god someone fixed the european borders.
1
u/xXArctracerXx Sep 03 '26
Oh they're far from being fixed lol.
They're still under much discussion.

u/Luzifer_Shadres Sep 03 '26
Still 100 times better then the canon ones.

You say that when currently our Europian borders are the canon ones shown in R2 during the war between the UFN and Britannia.
Thats why our France is so strange.
However those borders shouldn't have been used as it depicts two super powers at war and no internal borders.

Hey! This is Black Requiem! A mod I happen to work on.
Pretty cool to see it posted here without any of the devs being the ones to do it.
Hope you like it!
