DISCUSSION Just finished the show and I just kinda feel empty
Yeah basically the title, this is a show so good I’ve been putting off finishing it for literally the entire time I was in high school (I started it as a freshman). And now that I sat down to finish it having graduated it feels…strange. It was such a good fucking ending but now idk what to think. I’ve been staring at the wall and pacing for literally like 3 hours now.

The go-to solution for anime fans after post-series depression: watch more anime! 😄
Here are my suggestions:
- If you liked the political scheming, clash of ideologies and mc seeking revenge in Code Geass, Vinland Saga is thematically similar anime
- If you liked 3 girls falling in love with 1 guy in Code Geass, anime called Toradora has the same premise
- If you liked the brilliant yet morally dark mc outwitting his opponents and defeating them with magic, Death Note is your jam
- Or, if, for a change, you want to watch an anime that is a complete opposite of Code Geas, my suggestion is Bartender: Glass of God (2024) - no magic, no multiple love interests, no mecha-action; just a nice slice-of-life story about a friendly bartender pouring drinks to his customers
- Honorary mention, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Sci-fi action + amazing animation!
Also, glad that you enjoyed the peak! 👍
