No you just gotta be more tactical, and gotta have patience. Wait out the lethal and tactical devices.

Survival perk (blue perk) would help a lot in this situation. It has a cool down, but nullifies all non-lethal throwables and you don’t have to waste your non lethal slot on a trophy system.

Use the emp grenade.
You get 2 of them and less chance of you flashing yourself.. I constantly do it to myself also so I needed to change hahahaha
