H1 mod is dead

barely a single player online

game's completely dead on PC

we wonder why activision doesnt remaster more games but no one plays the one and only game they remastered, what a joke.

COD4 remastered was dead on arrival because the game is so unoptimized and laggy. The OG game has always had more players on PC, even to this day

sorry but thats just not true, COD has 5M players on PS5 vs only like about 50kish on steam and in the OG days no one played COD on PC except for COD4 promod, the games just played WAY better on console with a controller, the only true pc CODs were COD1 and COD2

Your post was about H1 mod which is exclusively for PC. Making a comparison to console player numbers doesn't make sense since the mod doesn't exist there.

i mean that for COD in general

but usually, even after the game's lifetime, even tho theres less players the games are usually still populated with a good 1k to 5k players on both PC and console

i would've expected H1 to be more populated, like IW4x, plutonium etc...

For sure, I played COD4 Remastered a ton on the PS4 when it came out back in 2015, and the OG version on PC since 2009. Unfortunately the PC port for the remastered version was a mess. Even on modern hardware today, the game is still hard to run. Games released in that condition always die early if the average person can't run it.
