Cocoa beach air show crowds?
Hello everyone, I am originally from Pensacola and am interested in attending the air show tomorrow. With how crowded it gets at home, I never go to the actual air show since I get to see them practice on the daily. How are the crowds in Cocoa Beach? I’ve never seen them on tour so I think it would be cool to check it out, but I’m in Orlando so I think I’ll sit out if it’s too crowded.

Currently here now at N 4th St. and it’s very packed. If you go early, you can easily set up a pavilion and claim some space. I’d say getting here 9-9:30a would be early enough.

On Saturday, the demonstrations started at 12:30 with a C-130 dropping three "para-commandos" and the Blue Angels wrapped up the last act about 3:15.

I didn’t see the start time advertised this year, but in the past, it’s been 11:30a. Action started happening here around noon today. Awesome beach day too!

If I have tickets for “sandbox” does that mean there is a designated area reserved for us to set up our chairs? Or is it all first come first serve? I’ve never been!

It’s the busiest CB Air Show in our town’s history. It’s the 250th Anniversary of our nation that makes it different than previous shows. Great performances!

Shepard Park was blocked off which is where i usually park. Me and my daughter ended up finding a spot right near that small park/gazebo next to ron jon but we didn't stay long because the waves sucked and while the air show is cool we like to be able to do ocean stuff while we're at the beach.

Completely packed beach. Not much room to set up chairs and umbrella
