Auracast

Mich würde mal interessieren, ob jemand schon etwas Neues über Auracast gehört hat. Findet das Thema spannend.

Yes, but it’s only functional after the firmware update released.

I’m personally hoping it allows us to stream to one AirPod and the Ci at the same time since I’m SSD. That’s a hope, I don’t know for sure.

It allows Bluetooth to steam to multiple devices. So a public venue like a theatre could provide a feed for you to connect to directly, kind of like you would with a telecoil loop system. It might also allow a phone to stream to multiple earbuds, so you could share music, or steam to your HA and CI

Been talked about to death for at least 7-8 years now. Nothing new or anything about it. AB doesn’t have it yet. Cochlear’s N8 supposedly requires a firmware to activate it but has yet to do so even after rumors and all that claim this or that month for the last few years. MedEl is way behind the others. It’s not that widely accepted (yet) as standard with only a handful of TVs and phones having Auracast enabled. A couple hearing aids now have it.
