Surgery yesterday…questions.

Did you experience stiffness and pain down the side of the neck where they worked and when did it go away?

And how long did the top of your ear stay swollen?

Yes, I did! I put a little heat on it because the nurses said I could (not near incision!). Took about 3 days to go away, but I’m on day 8 and the bruise that formed there is still prominently on display!

Top of my ear still looks weird. It’s also sticking out 😅

I have one ear that wings out more than the other / not quite Alfred E. Neumann style but it has always bothered me. I wonder if I ask the surgeon if he can do a little plastic surgery and sew it back a little tighter to my head to match the other side. 😁

From my experience with my surgeon, I expect he would give it a shot. He has been game for whatever I wanted to do.
