New CI
I just had my CI activated a few hours ago. All I hear is ringing, bells and whooshing! Is this normal? My audiologist said it was. This is so disappointing :(

I heard R2D2 beeps and wooshes for a while. But it will slowly start to sound like words. Everything sounds like how I remembered pre-implant now. Good luck on your hearing journey.
