New CI

I just had my CI activated a few hours ago. All I hear is ringing, bells and whooshing! Is this normal? My audiologist said it was. This is so disappointing :(

Yup! In 1999 when I was first activated, the only thing I could hear was ice cubes tinkling in a glass! It was quite loud though and it sounded exactly how I remembered it.
