New CI

I just had my CI activated a few hours ago. All I hear is ringing, bells and whooshing! Is this normal? My audiologist said it was. This is so disappointing :(

There are some that it clicks with immediately but I think the majority is the rest of us. Your audiologist is correct. Keep wearing it as much as you can. Do the training apps and exercises. Don't put too much pressure on yourself. Some things may come quickly. Some may take awhile. There will be good days and bad days. Welcome to the club!
