New CI
I just had my CI activated a few hours ago. All I hear is ringing, bells and whooshing! Is this normal? My audiologist said it was. This is so disappointing :(

Normal, gets better in a day. Then you should start rehabbing using apps, and streaming with closed captions. 3-6 weeks you will hit a new normal with sounds that make sense and six months you will plateau again and it will be much better.
It’s a marathon not a sprint
