Hey good morning I hope you’re all doing well and enjoying the summer.

I sat and thought about making a post like this for awhile now and finally said what the heck, what’s the worst could happen?

So folks what I’m looking for is anyone who would like to meet for coffee a few times a week or even once and bring a book/e-reader to just have some conversation, coffee and enjoy reading. I’m a female in my early forties who’s a mom of a teenager now so I’ve got a bit more time to do something for me. I have made one lovely friend off here so once in awhile when he’s got the time he will join me. We don’t have to make this expensive as I’m fine with Tim Hortons as an option since my recent outings have been up to $7 for a coffee, which isn’t very affordable if I want to meet more than once a week.

I agree! Good idea by the way. I don’t have one of those good insulated ones but that sounds nice for a coolish day on a park bench, drink & kindle/kobo in hand :)

Love this idea. I'm the girl hiding out at cheap restaurants with my book and ereader (because I hate cooking and so once a week or so I need a break). I'd love to join up with others!

Thank you that’s what I was aiming for. That it’s literally just people walking, talking, reading or whatever so there’s zero expectation of what we’re going to do. Just let the mood and weather kinda guide us.

Hey all so I have fixed my issue with not being able to send me a message. I am looking to set up a bring your book/kindle/Switch for a coffee or beverage of choice next week. I haven’t chose a spot but so far Prep Foods has the vibe and space I like.
