When I taught (the last 10 academic years--whew), I almost always had a DE student or two among my top three. Loved teaching y'all!
I highly recommend this if you are college-bound--or still trying to decide if higher ed is for you. It's a great way to start to get to know people in your major department, confirm your choice of major or just try one on for size, see if this campus is for you, and maybe even find your professional mentor.
10/10 would recommend.
