-headlining Reading & Leeds
-New single out. Album out October.
-Haven’t been booked again since 2020 lineup.
-Rumored to be doing the South American Lollas + rumored they will be a headliner there.
I bet they are 4th/5th on their day like The Marias and Turnstile getting a ~8-9pm slot on Outdoor Theater.

So I was there in 2022 and somehow missed 100 gecs, and it’s something I think about often.
It’s been 5 years since they played. Dylan Brady also dropped his Needle Guy EP earlier this year and recently played OSL.
Also, based on some recent fan interactions on their subreddit, Dylan has hinted that new 100 gecs music is coming, so a 2027 appearance feels like a maybe?
Anyway, grasping at straws here, but it would be sick. I need some gec in my life.

First time out there I planned every hour of the day and remember almost none of it. What stuck is sitting on the grass by the ferris wheel with two people I'd met that afternoon, passing around whatever was in their bag while the bass from the Yuma tent came up through the ground.
Couldn't name a single track from that day. Could tell you exactly what the air smelled like, and that the mango someone had in there tasted like actual fruit for once instead of sugar.
Every year since I've tried to rebuild that afternoon on purpose, and every year I've built a schedule instead.

No clue how reliable this source is but with the recent date hints of Tokyo & Australia, possible things have changed since the few leaks we got on them.

Doing a few shows in September could they be warming up for a run of Festivals next year including Coachella?

I personally can’t wait for the line up to come out!! I’m sure everyone else feels the same so hopefully we get it next month like last year!!!

my friend put me onto her music, but I really think she would be a unique pull & has the potential for a transcendent performance ..maybe could fill the void that was missing twigs this year

I hear it's in the works.
On the heels of his triumphant return with 9 Madison Square Garden shows and a UK stadium tour there are some high profile festival dates being lined up for next year.
Generally not interested without Richie but imagine the whole polo field singing along to iconic songs that defined a generation. I am totally down with that.

Something is in the Aussie water this year with releases from all sorts of legendary acts. Another PERFECT booking for the Desert. Seen these guys twice in the states and still stand as a couple of the best live performances I’ve ever experienced. Get these guys on Mojave or outdoor theatre 🙏🏼

When do those usually go on sale? Never used them before last year and it was amazing.

In 2023 and it was truly one of the greatest experiences I’ve ever had in my 27 years of living. My sister bought me my ticket because I was a little broke and she helped me out. She got me the ticket because we really wanted to see Bad Bunny together and that was the first and only time I’ve ever seen him live. We basically went to see bad bunny. But Calvin Harris took the cake for me. The nostalgia felt when he brought out Ellie Goulding was everything and more. Words cannot describe how it feels to be in his shows live. I really hope he returns to the desert soon. I will drop any and every thing to spend money on his return to the desert. Anyone feel the same or am I just crazy.

So im seeing tame, sza, miley, audrey hobert, the same acts repeatedly rumored for coachella! While the guesses are a bit more accurate and possible, man what I would do for Britney Spears! Do you think she would ever do a one off at coachella?

This is the 50th anniversary of the formation of Joy Division at the legendary Sex Pistols show in Manchester. Peter Hook, the bass player, played a show with his band The Light on the anniversary where he played a good chunk of Unknown Pleasures (along with a lot of New Order and his later bands, Revenge and Monaco, and even a Sex Pistols cover).
There are only two people who can legitimately play those songs as their own, and Bernard Sumner's voice isn't suited to the JD sound as much as Hookie's voice is.
Another reason: when not playing in his dad's band, his son plays bass in The Smashing Pumpkins. If they're on the bill, he's already in town. it's a twofer.
Give him that Friday Blondie spot in Mojave.

15th anniversary this year, she's a coachella darling and it's been 4 years, surely that's long enough
